Step 1: Identify the Product Benefits:

Firstly, write down each and every benefits of your product and how the customers will find it beneficial. Only benefits not the features, once you start writing the features instead of benefits then remember you are entering the competitive world of similar products marketed by different brands or companies. So, go for the benefits to look different and justify it.

Secondly, write down the problems that your product will solve.

Identify the pros and cons. Let the customers know how it will help them and make there life easy.

Thirdly, go for emotional triggers (fear, pride, happiness, guilt, jealousy) i.e. say for example; one of your family members has got a cellphone already and he notices the cell phone which you are using. Your cellphone is far better in design, shape and size including the features then instantly he will ask you about your cellphone and will feel the urge to buy the one which you are using it.

There yo go, you have triggered it emotionally!

Step 2: Identify your Target Audience:

Write down everything about your perfect customer. It may be men, women, single/married, travel, occupation, home owners etc. Make sure you have enough knowledge about your target groups before hitting them.

Find the places where you will get your target group. For example; if you are targeting students then start your promotion and branding in localities in and around schools or colleges.

Step 3: Create Offers:

Create some attractive offers to draw the customers attention. It should be unique and different. Don't make the mistake of giving offers that might face you a loss. It can be a free takeaway or a contest, it all depends upon you.

Identify the people that have used your product, take the feedback right away so that you get to know the reviews overtime.

After the final surveying convert it into sales, go for social media marketing, collaborate with bloggers, the leads and promote it aggressively.
